Courses

Dedication to training is one of Lentini’s central principles. This attention has led to the development of several training projects specifically formulated according to the users.

  • Courses for integration: since the first years of activity, Lentini has dedicated a lot of resources and energies to the training of people who are not integrated into other working realities. These courses are often carried out with the participation and support of Social Cooperatives, SPRAR, Day-time center, and other entities active in social support. Students are taught fundamental concepts of formulation, production and also hints on regulations. The theoretical aspect is then accompanied by a practical application in the laboratory to provide users with all the necessary tools to be able to operate even independently in pharmaceutical laboratories and other types of production laboratories.
  • UTIFAR courses: Lentini is closely linked to Italian pharmaceutical realities, for this reason the Italian Technical Union of Pharmacists (UTIFAR) has selected the company to carry out training activities with recognition of ECM credits in collaboration with the University “La Sapienza” of Rome. During the courses, pharmacists from all over Italy can apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting at the Lentini laboratories, also finding support for any obstacle or doubts. In this way the students develop the skills necessary for a pharmacist who wants to specialize in galenic preparations.

Training internships

Thanks to the activities carried out by Lentini in the production field, starting from the formulation to the finished product, the working environment behind the process is an interesting meeting point for many growth and training prospects. For this reason, the company offers the possibility of carrying out training internships in the laboratories. In this experience, the intern will discover a wide range of activities and knowledge, to then specialize in the field of most interest, whether it is the regulatory structure of a particular type of product or the techniques and production processes that lead from a pilot lot to productions of large quantities.
